Two halves separate in flight, close around the load from the sides, and lock into one solid ring. No hook, no sling, no rigging. The drone becomes the gripper.

MATRYX is Pierce Frankfort and Aston Frankfort. We designed ICARUS in full CAD, simulated it to scale, and ran the engineering research ourselves, with a small modern toolchain doing the work a much larger team used to need.
